An installation piece exploring the idea of time in several layers, sometimes gestures move fast, sometimes slow, like a kind of electronic circular breathing.
It uses cybernetic systems in several ways - generating the audio and generating the visuals, feeds back data into black boxes that make decisions of what the next suggestion of data should be, all with a goal. The audience takes part in the process and the goal, until the system restarts with a new goal - similar but very different.
The installation is intended to be beautiful, insistent and intrusive at the same time.
Specification
- Durata:15 minute long file, or infinity generated in real time.
Tech rider
- Fullrange stereo or quad loudspeaker system.
- CRT-TV in 4:3-format, preferably as large as possible. Sony PVM or similar with a flat screen is preferable. OR shown with a digital projector on to a PVC screen, in a pitch black room. File is available in 4:3 or 16:9 format.
- Media player (for playback of file) or Mac (for generated in real time with special application), with hdmi to composite video conversion if needed.
